This past week they were able to pour concrete for the second floor using a long hose that pumped concrete from outside the building.
This area will be the future church offices and some classrooms.
They also poured the area for the balcony and mezzanine.
The area around the mechanical roof, that is hidden by the mansard roof, was basically finished during the week. There will be nine A/C and heating units installed up here eventually. This is looking West.
And this is looking East.
At the end of the week they started weather sealing the mechanical roof by putting down two layers of styrofoam and a rubber membrane.
They also started several functions on the inside of the building this week which will be covered in more detail in the construction photos. Much of the roof drainage plumbing, internal walls, and internal electrical work was done.
They also did much of the A/C and Heating ducting during the week. They also set up scaffolding for the EIFS.on the East outside wall. This will be interesting to track over the next several weeks as they put up the EIFS brick appearance on the outside of the building.
